The requirement

You must be at least twenty-one years of age to use this site or to purchase
any product from it. We do not sell to anyone under twenty-one under any
circumstances.

How we verify

Verification happens twice.

On entry, you are asked to confirm that you are twenty-one or older. Your
answer is recorded in a cookie on your own device so you are not asked again on
every page. Declining ends the session and redirects you away from the site.

At checkout, you must separately confirm that you are twenty-one or older and
that you are purchasing for laboratory research use only, not for human or
animal consumption. This confirmation is unticked by default, is required to
place the order, and is recorded against the order with a timestamp.

What the attestation means

Confirming your age is a representation you are making to us, and we rely on
it when we accept your order. Making a false attestation is a breach of our
terms of service and voids any warranty on the
product supplied.

Additional verification

We may request government-issued photographic identification before accepting
or dispatching an order where we have reason to doubt an attestation, where an
order is flagged by our fraud checks, or where the delivery destination requires
it. Any identification supplied is used solely to verify age and identity and is
handled under our privacy policy. We may decline
or cancel any order where verification is refused or fails.

If you are under twenty-one

Do not use this site and do not attempt to place an order. Any order we
identify as having been placed by someone under twenty-one will be cancelled and
refunded, and the associated account closed.

For parents and guardians

If you believe someone under twenty-one has used this site or given us

the information.
